Updated September 8th, 2021 by Louis Kemner: The remastered edition of the original Mass Effect trilogy helped put this groundbreaking sci-fi game series back in the spotlight, with new and veteran players alike once again creating their own unique Commander Shepard and blasting off into the stars.
Regardless of which character Shepard chose to romance, doing so gave insight into the character's personality and, if the player romanced an alien, provided a fascinating insight into foreign cultures. After you’ve recruited her by completing Dossier: The Convict, she’ll be on the lower level. Due to Shepard working with Cerberus and Ashley working for the Alliance, unfortunately the player will only have one face-to-face interaction with her. First of all, you need to be a male Shepard to romance Jack. There are three characters for each gender that you can romance and one of the standouts is the Cerberus cheerleader (according to Jack at least) herself, Miranda Lawson. Just like in the first game, Mass Effect 2 gives you the chance to court a certain character and share a nice relationship together. Nearly every romance option offered something different to Shepard.
